Our why is a good one. We just want to encourage other humans with this thing called life.

Our story is a bit longer though. Our founder has a reputation for F Bombs. Throwing out colorful language in all parts of life. On Zoom calls, in conference rooms, in text messages, on messenger, in social media, on podcasts, at the zoo, on a construction site, at the gym, literally wherever. With this reputation, people started noticing. It’s not often it was used in an aggressive way towards another person, mainly to enhance excitement and encourage others. She also has a knack for cultivating those around her who want to encourage the behavior. So, they started buying things. Things that have swear words on them. People would send things in the mail or show up with a little bag and something along the lines of “I thought you might like this” and friendships were tightened. One beautiful 35th birthday, someone realized they could send a whole bag of fucks as a present. The happiness that shown that beautiful late May day was delightful. Weeks go by with smiles every time they were seen on the kitchen counter. Then one day an encouraging card was sent, and a thought was had, maybe I should drop one of these in there. A little note with a “I give a fuck about you”. Then another was sent with an “if you’re all out of fucks to give, no worries, I got you this week. Have one of mine”. Then a “thanks for giving a fuck. Here is one in return”. And on. And on. And on. Text messages and calls would come back with so much joy at the random little wooden FUCK they received in the mail.

An idea was born. Perhaps more people needed this small act of encouragement and kindness. Perhaps more people needed to get shown some love when they were having a great week. Or a hard week. Or just a Tuesday.

Show some love to your people. It feels like everyone needs it these days.
